Our retainers cover core and plugin updates, security monitoring and patching, uptime monitoring, performance and Core Web Vitals tracking, monthly reporting, and a bank of development hours for feature requests, bug fixes, or content-related build work. You get a dedicated WordPress architect who already knows your codebase, not a rotating support queue.

All project clients get 30 days of complimentary hotfix coverage after launch. Most move to a paid retainer within 60 days, once routine feature requests and content-driven build work start coming in faster than an ad-hoc arrangement can handle. If your site is genuinely low-change, you may not need one yet: we'll tell you honestly rather than upsell you.

Retainer clients get a 4-hour SLA on urgent requests (site down, security incident, broken checkout or lead form) during business hours, with after-hours escalation available for mission-critical issues. Non-urgent requests (new features, content builds) are scheduled into the next sprint.

Yes. We run a technical audit first, codebase, plugin stack, security posture, performance, to understand what we're inheriting before quoting a retainer. In some cases we'll recommend a focused remediation project before moving to ongoing maintenance, so you're not paying us to maintain a site with structural issues underneath.
